We keep this policy short because our data footprint is deliberately small. We don’t serve ads, we don’t sell personal information, and we don’t run user accounts on the Site. 6. Veer Studio Desktop Application

Veer Studio is a native desktop application that runs locally on your computer. It does not upload your point cloud data, Lanelet2 maps, or project files to our servers. The application may periodically check for updates (standard version-check HTTP requests), and crash reports (if you opt in) may include anonymized diagnostic data. We do not collect telemetry about your mapping activity, file contents, or usage patterns within the application without your explicit consent.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Contact form submissions and business correspondence are typically retained for the duration of the relationship plus a reasonable period. Analytics data is retained in aggregate and may be kept indefinitely in anonymized form.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
